Circle Song is a highly engaging form of a cappella vocal improvisation. In a circle, soundscapes, rhythms, and vocal melodies are created entirely without sheet music, relying solely on listening, reacting, and co-creating.

The workshop is open to anyone who loves to sing. Open-mindedness, curiosity, and a love of sound are at the heart of this practice. No prior vocal training is required.

Nicolas Billaux focuses primarily on ensemble practice and vocal improvisation. As a choir director, oboist, and teacher, he strives to make music accessible to all. Jeff Mack, after training as a trumpet player and singer, specialized in baroque and contemporary vocal music and leads workshops with Nicolas Billaux at INECC, among others.

To conclude the workshop, the public is invited to come and listen in the “Vieille Église Saint Laurent” and discover the wonders of choral singing.
