Chantal Kirsch

Chantal Kirsch was born and raised in Luxembourg. Passionate about arts and crafts from an early age, it was only in her twenties that she fully embraced her passion for music, particularly jazz.

While she had always loved singing, it was during this time that she felt compelled to pursue a professional career as a musician.

She diligently worked on her vocal skills and music theory, which led her to study jazz vocals abroad, first at the Conservatorium Maastricht and later at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, where she earned a Master’s in Jazz and Modern Music. These experiences shaped her into a versatile vocalist with a passion for crossover musical styles.

Now, as a vocalist in several projects, Chantal is establishing herself on the local music scene. She continually seeks new ways to express her love for music, drawing from jazz, soul, funk, trip-hop, and electronic influences. Her current focus includes her newly formed electronic duo Malaise and her quintet MAYA, where she explores the intersections of these genres in unique and innovative ways.
