Singing alone allows you to plunge deep into self-discovery. But when you sing with others, the connection is made and you can reach the top of the mountain. African polyphonic singing is a superimposition of melodies in the same song, with the distinctive feature of bringing the singer gradually and discreetly into the movement, without forcing the voice. Above all, it is a spiritual group meditation song par excellence. The vibratory emission of African polyphonic singing awakens our body's cellular memories (which are transgenerational). It's a receptive song, and the more you repeat it, the closer you get to pure, real energy. Modestine Ekete invites participants to immerse themselves in this other musical dimension, where the voice is freed to make way for connection.

This song, which uses lesser-known tones, can be practised by people of all ages, with respect for each individual. It can be sung in a variety of positions and at a variety of rhythms, helping to generate and harmonise the breathing rhythm. Polyphonic singing projects sounds that go deep inside us, connecting us and creating emotional energy.

For all levels!
