A body awareness workshop for anyone interested in using their voice.

The workshop is based on the Alexander Technique.

With a colorful mix of observation exercises, movement games, breathing and voice exercises, we explore the connection between body and voice: more presence and sound, less pressure.

Note: Please bring a mat for floor exercises.

Mariette Lentz

Mariette Lentz is an opera and concert singer and leads a singing class and the opera school at the Conservatoire de Musique du Nord in Ettelbruck/Luxembourg. During her artistic career she was able to experience the beneficial and relieving effect of the Alexander Technique for herself.
She trained as an Alexander Technique teacher with Irma Hesz in Düsseldorf, as did her co-teacher Franziska Irrera. She now teaches Alexander Technique at the conservatory in Ettelbruck, as well as in various workshops.
As a voice teacher, she is particularly interested in the help of the Alexander Technique in relation to voice and breathing problems, performance anxiety and general stress symptoms.
