Overtone singing, the fascinating art of singing two notes at the same time with a single voice, an amazing vocal effect that anyone who can speak can learn. Workshop in German.

Overtones are a natural part of every vocal sound, but they are not usually perceived. Special tongue positions can bring them out of the vocal sound. The result is a floating, glass harp melody that rises above the voice. The course is suitable for beginners, but also slightly advanced students can refine their technique from scratch.

In this course, Wolfgang Saus shows you in just a few hours how to conjure up these delicate sounds from your voice. In simple, easy to follow learning steps you will learn :

  • how to focus your hearing on the overtones, because this is a learnable sensory enhancement that makes overtone singing much easier,
  • how to bring out the overtones in your voice, and what the back tongue has to do with it,
  • what tricks you can use to amplify the overtones in your voice to the extreme,
  • where overtones come from and why they have such a fascinating effect,
  • what other overtone techniques there are and what you can do with them.

After this course you will be able to :

  •  sing clearly audible overtones,
  •  have an introduction to the different overtone techniques and be able to use at least two of them,
  •  discover overtones all around you that you were not aware of before,
  •  get exercises to develop your harmonics quickly.
